Virgin America's Launch
Founder Sir Richard Branson and CEO Fred Reid wanted to add a sense of surprise to the premiere flight of Virgin America Airlines, so they invited Patrick Martin along for the ride! After Martin entertained at a private Gala in New York for Virgin America's board of directors, he joined Sir Richard and his VIP guests the next morning on the airline's 'virgin' voyage, entertaining the crowd with a special in-flight show that pointed up the airline's many innovations, as well as Sir Richard Branson's delightful sense of fun.
Upon landing in San Francisco, a spectacular stage show tailored to the celebration featured Patrick’s comedy and magic. Martin and Branson brought down the house with the production of a huge 'Virgin America' flag as

Family Celebration
Champion sprinter, sports car manufacturer, thoroughbred racehorse enthusiast, and founder of 'British Motor Cars'- one of the most successful car dealerships in the United States, Kjell Qvalle leads quite an active life, so planning for his 90th birthday had to be equally fantastic. Kjell's event design associates cleared out all the Jaguars and Hummers to transform his large auto showroom into a sumptuous ballroom, and celebrated with a wonderfully wild costume party! All the guests came as their favorite character, which Martin and Kjell could playfully poke fun with during the dinner show. To highlight the evening, Patrick featured Kjell in a unique magic illusion. As everyone cheered and applauded, Kjell announced that this had been one of the most memorable evenings in his long and adventurous life.
Celebrity Gala
Tennis star Andre Agassi wanted to throw a magical party for his friends at the Tryst Club in Las Vegas. Patrick’s sleight-of-hand had thrilled Agassi and his wife Steffi Graff at a recent benefit with Emeril Lagasse, so they asked Martin to create something unique for this celebration. After Andre provided background details, Patrick combined dazzling magic with humor and heart for an unforgettable show that featured the Agassi family and their dearest friends.
A favorite moment came after the show when guest Steve Wynn grabbed Patrick's arm and beamed -
"As usual - you knocked it out of the park!"

Keynote Address
A popular motivational speaker, Patrick has given talks and conducted team-building workshops at Universities and corporate conferences, as well as for the California Academy of Sciences and NASA. Tailoring his presentation to each specific audience, Martin's programs are informative, surprising, funny, visual and memorable.
Monte Carlo Opera
Patrick Martin developed a number of theatrical special effects for a new production of Wagner’s "Das Rheingold” at the San Francisco Opera House, but tackled an even greater challenge for one of Europe’s most prestigious theaters. First produced in Monte Carlo during the Roaring 20s, the Opera 'Fay-Yen-Fah' was to be staged there again at the sumptuous Salle Garnier Opera House. As the Salle Garnier is a national treasure, no smoke or flame effects were allowed, so Patrick was called in to solve staging problems and to design non-pyrotechnic special effects. Martin created dazzling new illusions to make creatures appear and vanish, enormous flowers and vines to grow, and a singing Goddess to float over the crowd!
Stadium Sorcery
Get ready to RRRRRRUMBLE!
The San Francisco 49ers were hosting the New York Giants to be televised on ABC's Monday Night Football, and their halftime presentation needed an extra element of surprise. To solve the mystery with flash and fun, Patrick Martin was asked to help create a magical finale. He designed and directed the climactic scene where the 49er mascot "Huddles" vanished while openly standing on field at the center of the stadium. With another blast of smoke, "Huddles" suddenly reappeared at the very top of the stadium and slid down a wire to join the team on field, while more than 64,000 stadium fans cheered him on!
